Learning Quixote

Last Modified: 13 Dec 2008

We've written a number of tutorials to help you learn Quixote. Note that these tutorials were written for Quixote 1.x and have not been updated to reflect the 2.x changes. The major difference is that with 2.x you must use the Directory class instead of being able to use arbitrary objects as Quixote namespaces. Start with the first one, "Introducing Quixote".

After reading the first one, you can move on to the other lessons. Each lesson concentrates on a single topic and there's little interdependence between topics, so you don't need to read them in any particular order.

The demonstration application used throughout these tutorials can be downloaded from http://www.quixote.ca/files/qxdemo.

  1. Introducing Quixote: A Simple Link Display
  2. Editing the Link Tree: Quixote's Form Framework
